After much preparation, the young self-proclaimed Emperor of The Han Dynastory is now serving a full-time mission to the UK with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He will return in 2014.

Welcome to the Han Dynastory!

As I am now serving a full-time mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have left this blog under the stewardship of a family member, who may post updates on how I'm doing as he/she sees fit.

Enjoy your stay!

Chinese New Year Visit To Chern Hui's House

On the weekend of the Chinese New Year break, I went back to KL for 2 days before heading to Kuantan to visit an uncle.

On the Sunday, 17th February, I paid Chern Hui a visit.

It just so happened that it was IBM's birthday the next (or something like that), so we decided to celebrate. Yi Fei showed up too. After visiting grandpa, it was a minute's drive to Chern Hui's house.

Presenting the cake to IBM

As for Yi Fei...

After much fine and excitement, IBM well, erm.
Of course, seeing this, Chern Hui had a brainwave
Did that seem familiar? Try looking here

We stayed for quite a long time, eventhough we didn't actually do much together. Yi Fei started doing some math with Chern Hui's occassional help while the computer constantly switched hands between me and Yi Fei when I wasn't drawing. And yes, IBM spent most of the time sleeping until he woke up and we went out to have dinner.

After dinner it was obviously time to head back home. And so, to make my visit more memorable, I took photos of Chern Hui.

It's been a while since we've had a get together ever since I moved to Singapore, but with proper planning, I'm sure we'll be able to meet up again this coming March holidays.

I'm Back!

At last, after months of blogless days....

I've finally made the move to Singapore and I've settled down nicely in an HDB flat. By now I've been schooling for exactly one month, topping the class for quite a few subjects. Life couldn't get any better.

Life here is as good as it gets but I still can't help but miss what I had back in KL. I left behind a good school, lots of good friends, and worst of all, my dog. Simba is still in our old house, left under the care of Dad. I can't help but feel sorry for him. I firmly believe that animals do have feelings, and imagine what it must be like for him to suddenly lose his family. He's been so loyal to us all these years and suddenly, we move a country away from him.

We don't have internet at home yet but apparently it will come on March. Until then I shall have to rely on the school library to access the internet provided I manage to finish my work first.

More news and photos will come in time... that is, if I have any time...
